Brand new for 2022, CCM introduces the newest iteration of their flagship line, the CCM Axis 2 Pro Senior Goalie Leg Pads! Building off of the success of the original Axis, the Axis 2 introduces new technologies and materials to take your game to an even higher level.

Starting with the internal core of the pad, the Axis 2 Pro will feature CCM’s all new LITEXCORE and Max Rebound+ technology, designed to be a super lightweight yet stiff pad that delivers incredibly powerful rebounds.

The knee stack on the Axis 2 Pro has been completely redesigned by CCM; it now features the Dynamic Response System (DRS) Pro, a one piece HD foam landing zone designed to increase both the seal and stability while allowing for maximum speed and powerful movements. A redesigned inner foam layer is specifically built for strategic impact absorption to reduce impact when dropping into the butterfly.

The leg channel features a stock loose fit combined with the second generation of CCM’s Quick Motions Strap System (QMSS), which includes a molded upper calf strap to help with optimal leg positioning and pad rotation.

An HD raised flat inside edge design allows for maximized seal and stability for powerful cross crease movements.

Finally down at the boot a 90 degree angle with a shallow channel allows for enhanced range of motion and connectivity to increase power to your pushes.

Brand new for 2022, CCM introduces the newest iteration of their flagship line, the CCM Axis 2 Pro Senior Goalie Glove! Building off of the success of the original Axis, the Axis 2 introduces new technologies and materials to take your game to an even higher level.

Visually the Axis 2 Pro glove is designed with SpeedSkin broken up in to several large zones throughout the design, intercut with much smaller, striking, zones to break up the design and distract the shooter.

Starting with the shape, CCM has rolled out their all new 591 break angle on the Axis 2 Pro glove, which is based off the wildly popular 590 or 60 degree break angle, but redesigned for enhanced closure, feel and responsiveness. Paired with an all new LITECORE injection molded one-piece cuff design, the Axis 2 Pro offers a large blocker surface to show to the shooter and allow for a natural catch.

D30 material is visible throughout the palm to add extra protection against stingers if not caught clean in the pocket, and a game-ready palm allows for easy break-in.

In the pocket of the glove, CCM has taken the massive success from the previous models and added the Double Straight T as a stock option on the Axis 2 Pro. This pocket allows the goalie to completely see into the pocket and still yield for a soft catch. At the base of the spine of the T, there is a U-shaped design which keeps for a clean attachment point and promotes an easy break in and game ready feel right out of the box. On the spines of the glove, they have been stiffened to help give a better shape and depth to the pocket which will give the goalie the maximum depth allowed to help cradle pucks.

Moving to the interior of the glove, CCM has completely redesigned the fit of the Axis 2 Pro. It now features a Cross Form strap, which secures the back of the hand via multiple attachment points; this allows for greater responsiveness while still allowing for unmatched mobility. An all new form fit finger area is designed to offer a customized feel and optimal responsiveness in the glove. Finally, CCM utilizes an all new AX Suede dura palm with Polygiene and Odor Crunch, designed to provide optimal comfort and feel as well as superior odor management

Finishing on the backhand of the glove, the backhand and cuff utilize the all new FlexMotion2 design, with the cuff offering strategic flex pints and layered protection allowing for a greater range of motion; the backhand is a strategic tri-flex design which offers unmatched high impact protection.

Starting with the board, the Axis 2 introduces an all new LITECORE design, the lightest board CCM has ever produced. But don’t let the weight fool you, the LITECORE material is also designed to produce the most powerful rebounds ever seen off the blocker. On the sidewall CCM has kept the true bindingless design to help make the Axis 2 even more durable.

On the fingers, CCM has kept the curved finger protection design that was so popular on the original Axis and improved it by pairing it with a molded X-Stiff sidewall to provide unmatched high impact protection and strength. The HD foam wrap and D3O wrap around the fingers also makes its return to offer complete protection for all the fingers.

On the back cuff, CCM introduces the all new FlexMotion2 design of the cuff; which features strategic segmentation and adjustability to provide a personalized fit and unmatched range of motion.
