Brand new for 2022, Bauer Hockey is bringing a lighter feel and better protection to their Vapor hockey glove line with the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Junior Hockey Gloves. Elite protection combined with enhanced performance make these the ultimate stick handler’s gloves.
Starting with the fingers, the Vapor Hyperlite gloves feature dual density foams with PE inserts that allows for a wide range of motion when stickhandling and shooting. The PE inserts will help to protect your fingers from slashes, skates, pucks, and anything else the game throws at you. A 2-piece flex thumb will give you a good range of motion in the thumb area without reducing protection.
Around on the backhand of the Hyperlite gloves, Bauer included a molded SHOCKLite foam backing combined with dual density foams and DC tech. This provides the players with elite-levels of protection in all aspects of the game whether it be from blocking shots, slashing, or just bumping against the boards. Additionally, the DC tech improves protection level by 25% vs the previous vapor line.
Next on to the cuff of the Vapor Hyperlite gloves, an open cuff with flare will allow the player a full range of motion. This has been improved over older models to really help reduce restrictions in any situation of the game. The cuff will also include a shaped cuffroll with 3D molded logo.
Finally, on the palm of the Hyperlite gloves, a Dura-Connekt palm will enhance the feel of the stick in the players hand, further reducing restrictions to your stick handling. This palm will also offer a 30% improved durability over previous models and will last longer against normal wear and tear. Inside of the glove will be a new THERMOCORE ZERO liner which is treated to manage sweat and odors while providing a fresh feel all game long.
If you are an elite-level hockey player who is looking for the ultimate stick handlers’ glove that offers elite protection and performance, look no further than the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Junior Hockey Gloves.
A precise hockey glove fit is important to provide ultimate hand protection and a comfortable grip. If you choose a glove that’s too small, you risk exposing your forearm between the cuff of the glove and your elbow pad, as well as potentially allowing your fingers to extend past the protective surface on the top of the glove. This increases the chance of injury if you are hit by a stray puck or slashed at with a stick. If you choose a glove that is too big, the joints in your fingers may not align with the splits in the glove finger stalls that promote flex as you grip the stick.
Start by measuring the distance between the base of your palm and the top of your middle finger, then take that number and double it. This will give you accurate, proper hockey glove sizing. For example, if your measurement is 7”, you should purchase 14” hockey gloves. If you measure 7.5”, look for size 15 hockey gloves.
