Boot
Quarter Package: A one-piece boot design offers more direct energy transfer through the boot and a closer fit for faster strides.
Material: A molded RFM composite material blend with Super Skin offers optimized stiffness and long term durability; while a dark chrome graphic creates a rich, pro-like look.
Stiffness: The FT890 carries a stiffness rating of 180, stiff enough for the demands of competitve players, but more forgiving for increased agility when compared to similar models in the Tacks line.
Interior
Liner: The FT890 features a Totaldri Pro moisture wicking liner to keep feet dry and the skate lightweight. The thickness wraps the foot smoothly and offers increased abrasion resistance.
Comfort & Ankle Padding: A multi-layered foam configuration with denser ADPT Memory foam offers next level comfort and an elite fit. A secured and natural foot position in the skate helps to avoid long term fatigue.
Tongue: An ADPT comfort tongue is comprised of a molded core and ADPT memory foam to help wrap the foot for ultimate feel and comfort. A FlexMotion lace bite design helps maximize forward flexion and reduces lace bite.
Footbed: A molded CCM Ortholite footbed is ultra-lightweight, offering a molded fit and enhanced comfort.
Holder/Runner/Sole
Holder: CCM’s Speedblade XS holder features a quick-release design with a metal pin bladelock system, allowing for faster blade changes.
Runner: The FT890 will feature Step (+4mm), Step Steel’s high-grade steel with a precise profile and thickness for better edge control.
Anatomical and contoured shape that hugs the heel and midfoot closely, with a slightly higher ankle profile to enhance stability and responsiveness on the ice.
