New for 2020 are CCM’s Step Steel RSB Black Steel Runners. These runners take the widely popular design and features of Step Steel to fit on a CCM skate. Step Steel is made to increase the height of the runner to get more aggressive and tighter turns. Black steel coating uses a carbon nanoparticle layer to create an incredibly fine, hard edge.

To see if this steel is compatible with your holder, please check for one of these two things.

1) The SB Marking on back of the holder

2) The 4.0 on the front of the holder

If these markings have been removed or are unreadable, compare the holder picture to your skate.

To confirm the size of your holder look for the 3-digit number on the back corner of the holder.
