Construction
Lightweight, Half-piece Cuff: Redesigned for the HZRDUS 9X4 blocker, a half-piece cuff improves response with a more direct connection between the palm and blocker board. Additionally, True's half-piece cuff helps to reduce binding between the blocker cuff and chest protector sleeves, improving range-of-motion in the wrist.
Bindingless, 615 Blocker Board: Redesigned from the L20.2 blocker's 595 profile, the HZRDUS 9X4 blocker's one-piece 615 board construction greatly reduces flex between the board and sidewall. On the ice, the 9X4 blocker's new 615 profile gives it a tight, responsive feel with a smooth curve to fire pucks into the corners.
Comfort
Redesigned Sidewall and Thumb: Further reducing board flex, the 9X4 blocker's thumb-sidewall integration debuts a streamlined, more rigid design. In practice, this blocker's streamlined, more modern construction offers a lighter, more responsive package compared to previous True/Lefevre blockers.
Reinforced, SureGrip Palm: The HZRDUS 9X4 blocker combines a premium Nash® palm with a moisture-resistant SureGrip over the palm and index fingers. With its plush, high-tack palm gives the 9X4 blocker a confident, communicative feel.
Measurement: Most manufacturers do not make blocker or glove sizing guidelines for stock options. In most cases, a catch glove and blocker sized to the same age group as your leg pads should provide a proper fit. If you need a more exact fit, measure from the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger. To ensure good control over your catch glove it should feel snug across the back of the hand with your fingers reaching the end of the finger stall(s). * True offers Senior Blockers with a Medium or XL palm through Pro Custom only.
