Quarter Construction
NeuroFit+ Carbon Fiber Shell: Constructed around True's patented, one-piece carbon fiber shell, the Catalyst Nitro skates wrap the feet in a sturdy, yet ultra-light base. Not just delivering unmatched support and energy transfer, True's fully-thermoformable NeuroFit+ shell offers form-fit comfort, forming closer to your foot and ankle shape with each skate.
Exposed MotionCuff Collar: Redesigned from True's previous Catalyst X4 generation skates, True's MotionCuff collar now protrudes out of the quarter. This new exposed design enhances range-of-motion over True's previous MotionCuff, giving the ankles a secure, locked-in feel without compromising edge control or forward mobility.
Pro Goalie Tongue w/ High-Wear Reinforcement: True's Pro tongue pads the ankles, keeping comfortable through their entire range of motion. A rugged laminate coating across the tongue further enhances ankle protection and overall durability.
Comfort / Lining
HydroFoam Lining: Part of True's precision skate fitting system, a multi-layer HydroFoam lining conforms to the foot for a comfortable, confident fit. Not just comfortable on the bench, True's HydroFoam lining works to wick moisture away from the foot, keeping you dry and comfortable all-game.
GENETIX 2 Insole Support System: True's GENETIX insole system is formed from 360-scanned foot lasts, alleviating uneven pressure points across the footbed. Now, available in three different fits to accommodate low, mid, and high arches.
High-Tack Insole Printing: A high-tack stippling is printed across the GENETIX 2 insoles, further enhancing the Nitro skates' unmatched ergonomics and locked-in fit.
Holder & Steel Package
Shift Attack Holder w/ Stainless Steel Riveting: Mounted with highly-durable, stainless steel rivets, True's Shift Attack Holder offers precision edge control with an aggressive attack angle.
3mm Shift Attack DLC Blades: Shift DLC goalie steels are cut from an asymmetric profile, maximizing attack angle and edge control. Unique to the Catalyst Nitro skates, the included Shift Attack steels are cut and treated with True's Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) coating, helping the steels to hold a more precise cut for longer.
Bench Change Technology: Small pin-hole latch makes swapping blades quick and easy.
Postlock: Unique holder and toe cap shaped to hold onto the posts, providing a confident base for powerful cross-crease pushes.
True Temper Sports warranties its equipment against defects in manufacturing, workmanship, or breakage, under normal use and maintenance for a one-time repair or replacement within the time frame specified by item. All determinations of warranty will be made by True Temper Sports.
