Covering the puck is a split-second reaction for goalies, but often puts your glove in the path of skate or stick blades. To protect the back of the fingers, the Iconik glove features a hard shell wrapped in high-density padding materials layered to deflect impacts away from the hand. Combined with, Brian’s proprietary Primo-Slide material outlining the fingertips to help ensure durability and reduce friction aginst the ice. Implemented to improve durability and rebound performance, this glove features a BRI-CORE Reinforced Cuff. Brian’s signature BRI-CORE reinforces blocking surfaces with a high-performance triaxle carbon-fiber composite that is extremely light and maintains its rebound better than traditional plastics.

The break on a Brian’s glove is measured and cut a little different from other manufacturers. Instead of measuring the break angle from the wrist to the tip of the pocket (offering 580-600 or 60-90° gloves); Brian’s offers a 35° break laced through the palm, to provide a game-ready feel, with a fingertip to mid-thumb closure. Brian’s unique 35° break angle encourages a wider hand opening that confidently closes over an ultra-wide, maximum depth, double T pocket. Although they are shipped stock with Brian’s nash game-ready palm, custom order Iconik gloves can be optioned with Brian’s Pro Palm ⅛” or Beef Palm ¼”. Keeping this glove cool and comfortable, Brian’s Hex-Air floating inner cuff pads the wrist while creating breathing room to help channel fresh air through into the palm. Lined with an SBA (Synthetic suede) material the Hex-Air Cuff and soft nash palm provide a luxurious feel that offers a confident grip and absorbs moisture.

The performance of any gear can only be as good as its fit, and while preferences vary, nothing can distract you like a piece of equipment slipping or coming too loose. Optional for custom Iconik gloves and blockers, but highly encouraged to goalies unfamiliar with Brian’s gloves, the ATOP Smart Dial Strapping system. A quick, easy, and more precise fitment solution, Brians’ ATOP Smart Dial Strapping System replaces the standard nylon webbing straps or Velcro straps found on most gloves and blockers. Featuring a padded, comfort-mesh wrist strap and palm liner backing, an Iconik fit can be dialed in one click at a time. Traditional Velcro straps or nylon webbing straps can wear out quickly and even when fully tightened, can slowly lose tension with each move. As an alternative, the ATOP system tightens small, high-strength cables that secure the wrist and palm in place, click by click, for a perfect fit that won't slip during a game or wear out after a heavy season.
