Featuring a rigid, butterfly-oriented design that prioritizes speed, stability, and coverage, the new SLR4 Pro Carbon Goalie Leg Pads are handcrafted to deliver pro-spec performance. Featuring Vaughn's new Carbon Core Technology, a Pure Composite face gives the SLR4 Pro Carbon pads a rigid structure, optimized for butterfly coverage and rebound velocity. A solid outer roll design with a low-profile bevel helps keep the pads rigid while also helping to reduce skip-over.

Further improving butterfly control, the SLR4 Pro Carbon pads feature Vaughn's widened Balance Stabilizer inner edge panels. Designed for quick and controlled movements, the Balance Stabilizer panels and knee block are wrapped in Vaughn’s Quick-Slide material to greatly reduce sliding friction. Combined, these technologies enhance butterfly stability and enable quick, precise pushes.

The SLR4 Pro Carbon pads feature a more open knee cradle and a flatter boot channel that sits slightly taller off of the skate to reduce binding, and improve pad rotation. Offering enhanced protection at the back of the legs, a wide, padded calf wrap. Vaughn's rotation control straps have been integrated into the leg channels for additional personalization of performance and fit. At each calf, an inner support cushion has been implemented to ensure a more advantageous landing position with better pad seal.
